News from Movimento Turismo del Vino
19/02/2008 - The Movimento Turismo del Vino (Wine Tourism Movement) at the BIT (International Tourism Exchange) in Milano
The Movimento Turismo del Vino (Wine Tourism Movement) will present the many events planned for 2008 at the BIT fair (International Tourism Exchange) in Milano - Rho from February 21st to 24th.
The main news of this year is the Eguide “I Luoghi del Vino 2008”, the first multimedia tourist guide produced by Wine&More in collaboration with MTV. The guide presents many wine itineraries, information about producers and wines and can be applied to a GPS navigator system, palm pc or cell phone.
MTV will be exhibiting at our press agency booth, Sedicieventi (Hall 11 – stand H26/123). Some Regional Associations will also animate their own region’s booths, as their activities represent an important element of the regional tourism.
The first MTV important appointment for 2008 will be Vinitaly in Verona from April 3rd to 7th; then the 16th edition of Cantine Aperte (Open Wineries) on May 25th; Calici di Stelle (Wine under the Stars) to toast the night of San Lorenzo on August 10th.; Benvenuta Vendemmia (Welcome Harvest) in September; San Martino in Cantina on the second week end of November and finally in December Natale in Cantina (Christmas at the Winery).
