  ST. MARTINS DAY
This is the new event for 2008, held during the 2nd week of November. The Wineries will be open to the public for the tasting of the “Novello Wine” and of latest vintages, together with a tasting of local seasonal products. The Wine Tourism Movement, is especially promoting this autumnal event for those young people wanting to improve their knowledge of wine and the wine districts with the intention of helping them to a better understanding and tasting of wines. Visiting wineries at this time of the year, may also be a pleasant way of enlivening the last few serene autumn days before the first cold of winter, known for this reason throughout Italy, as “St. Martin’s summer”. |
