  NOVELLO AT THE WINERY
This is the latest event created by the Wine Tourism Movement. For this occasion, during the month of November, wineries throughout Italy open their doors to visitors. They provide tastings of the “new wines”, in combination with seasonal products, of course. This is an opportunity to be in contact with the wine world, during the exciting vinification phase, very shortly after the harvest. Fresh, fruity, and soft, the “new wine” definitely excites curiosity in those who approach the wine world for the first time. The Wine Tourism Movement, always aware of involving a more varied and less “traditional” public, uses this autumnal event to kindle the interest of younger people towards national wine production and the quality that distinguishes our territory. “Novello in Cantina” will be an event that will also be attractive to young people! In the end, we must remember that the “new wines” can be made with many different varieties of grapes (they can contain 60 types!), many of which are indigenous: this is a richness that is completely Italian, because the top foreign wines are based on single varieties. The Wine Tourism Movement, among its other objectives, would like to add value to the phrase Made in Italy… |
